It’s been two months since I’ve started working as a Developer in Ernst & Young (EY) and I’m going to be honest, I didn’t regret a single thing moving in to EY.
Though my office is located in Taguig, I’ve been working remotely at my flat since the pandemic started. Things were a bit overwhelming since everything were done virtually. This includes my hiring processes and interviews, except for that one time were I had a second level technical interview in our Taguig Office, but this was way back before the pandemic. Everything was spot on, from tool delivery and contract signing, to Virtual New Hire Orientation. I really have to commend the HR Talent Team for doing a job well-done.
If there’s something I really liked the most about EY, it’s the people. EY believes in building a better working world where our jobs revolve around the people we worked with. This value of the company is well-practiced, as I have experienced this first-hand in my team meetings and client engagements. We aren’t limited to the people we are working with as it engages us to be with people who are beyond the extent of our network.
As I type in this blog post, I wish to myself that I’d have a fun and glorious experience in my future with EY once this pandemic ends. Cheers to y’all!
